Privacy Statement
Walther Cancer Foundation (WCF) maintains a database of its constituents including its directors, volunteers, donors and prospective donors. The database is used for the distribution of
WCF publications, invitations and solicitations.
All personal information, such as name, address, e-mail address and telephone number of our constituents are private and confidential. For that reason,
WCF releases no personal information to outside parties.
WCF:
- Respects the wishes of its constituents, removing donors from the mailing list when they request to not receive
WCF mail.
- Does not obtain donor information from driver's license applications and motor vehicle registration forms, nor does it purchase personal information from outside resources.
- Does not buy/rent names from lists, nor does it distribute its mailing list in any way to outside organizations.
- Does not receive patient information from affiliate clinical trials or from the patient files of any supported research group.
- Collects web traffic data, including IP addresses, to better enhance the website and to best fit the needs of our customers.
- Restricts access to nonpublic personal information about its customers to those employees who may need it for the sole purpose of providing services.
- Maintains physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect its customers' nonpublic personal information.
